When I saw Antoni make this protein smoothie with Chis, the Founder of The Other Ones, (TOOF), I about jumped off my couch to make it. If you hate the taste of protein (like me) this one is for you! The cinnamon paired with the almond butter and pistachio is a decedent combo you didn’t know you needed first thing in the morning. Chris was not wrong when he said it tastes like Christmas!

Common Questions:
Where do I find pistachio milk? I don’t have a good answer for that one. I only checked two stores for it and ended up making mine. Whole Foods or Fresh Thyme may carry it.
Can I use different milk? Yes! I’ve tried this recipe with almond and oat milk. Both tasted just as good!
Can I use different nut butter? Yes! If you already have peanut butter, use that instead. Sunflower or cashew butter would be good too!
Where do I get vegan pea protein? You can find vegan pea protein at just about any grocery store or here. I love using vanilla to change the flavor if needed.
Is it delicious? Of course, it tastes like Christmas!!!

How to make this protein smoothie!:
Ingredients:
1 Banana, frozen or fresh
1 cup of ice
1 cup of Pistachio milk or other plant-based milk
2 tablespoons of Almond butter
2 teaspoons of cinnamon
1 scoop of pea protein

Add all the ingredients to a high-speed blender and blend until the texture is smooth.
